Son of Star - (Gordon Plough, R. 1968). Seedling# 64-48-2. TB, 36" (91 cm). Early through late bloom. Standards cadmium orange with a slightly pinker glow in the center; ruffled; falls cadmium orange at hafts, blending to buttercup yellow in the center radiating from marigold orange beard. 'Flaming Star' X seedling# 59-232-13: (('Palomino' x ('Apricot Glory' x 'Ballerina')) x 'Marilyn C.'). Eden Road 1969. High Commendation 1968; Honorable Mention 1970; Award of Merit 1972. Rebloom reported in: CA. USDA Zones 9.

Shipping:
• Don’t worry about repeat shipping charges if you place multiple orders- we will combine those orders (same address required) to save you money on shipping.
• We ship all orders in late July, August and September.
• We ship to the lower 48 states of the USA. No international shipping. We ship most orders with USPS Priority Mail.
• You will receive shipping updates in your email.
• Count the total number of plants in your order, including the number of plants in bundles, and use the pricing below to calculate shipping charges.
1-5 plants: $15

Pickup:
• We also offer free local pickup during certain months for online orders. If you want to pick up your order in person, simply select that option at checkout (if available).
• Local pick up dates for the 2026 season are Friday, July 24 and Sunday, July 26. Hours are 10 am - 6 pm both days.
• Garden address is 90 Silvers Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
Returns:
• When you receive your iris order, open the package and inspect the rhizomes. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any of the items you ordered, contact us for a full refund or replacement (if available) on the item that you are not satisfied with. Free bonus irises are not refundable or replaceable.
