Flashing Beacon - (Dorothy Guild, R. 1969). Seedling #63-K-2. MTB, 23-26" (58-66 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards yellow-orange (RHS 15B); falls grayed purple (187), shading from B to D; hafts yellow-orange with some red veining, narrow cream area on each side of beard tip; wide tangerine-orange beard. Parentage: 'Kinglet' X Williamson seedling #34 #878. Introduced by Guild in 1970. Awards: Honorable Mention 1971.
