First Wave - (Richard Tasco, R. 2002). Seedling# 97-TB-03-22. TB, 33" (84 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Medium blue violet self, aging lighter; beards pale violet, white hairs tipped yellow in throat; heavily ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Parentage: 'Sudden Impact' X 'Rippling River'. Introduced by Superstition Iris Gardens in 2003. Awards: Honorable Mention 2005; Award of Merit 2007.
