Once the irises start blooming, the Garden’s open 12 Noon to 6 PM daily and closed Saturdays unless otherwise stated on the news page. Check here to see when the blooming season starts and how long it lasts.
And when you do visit, be sure to bring your bug spray.

From I70…If you are coming from the east or west on I70. Take the 522 south/Berkeley Spings/Winchester exit off I70 at Hancock. Continue to follow 522 south across the Potomac River bridge. At the very end of the bridge turn left onto River Road. Keep to your left on River Road for approximately 5 miles (follow signs). Turn right onto Potomac Road (follow signs) for 1 and 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Silvers Road. Go approximately 100 yards and the garden entrance is on your right.
From I81 you can follow the I70 directions once you get to Hagerstown, MD if wish to travel the interstate. If you are traveling on Rt 9 west follow these directions. From I81 turn onto Rt 9 west/Berkeley Springs. Continue west towards Hedgesville. Once at the main stop light at the square in Hedgesville continue west on 9 for 12 miles. Turn right onto Potomac Road just before you come to Mt. Zion United Methodist church and graveyard. Follow the main road for 3 miles. Turn right on Silvers Road. Go approximately 100 yards, garden entrance is on your right.
Coming from the south on 522….once in Berkeley Springs turn right at the old Sheetz store at the intersection of 522 and Rt. 9. Follow Rt. 9 east for approximately 5 miles. Immediately upon passing the Mt. Zion United Methodist church and graveyard turn left on Potomac Road. Follow Potomac Road (main road) for about 3 miles. Turn right on Silvers Road. Garden entrance is approximately 100 yards on your right.
